How we use it
We use this information to display community rent data, publish owner listings, authenticate accounts, deliver owner–tenant enquiries, operate the inbox, respond to support requests, and protect the service from misuse.
Public and private information
Anonymous rent records are intended to be visible on the map without requiring an account. Owner listing details are shown according to the information submitted, but personal contact details are intended to be shared privately through the enquiry flow when the owner chooses to share them.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect account and message data, but no internet service can promise complete security. We may retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse.

Terms of use
Use the platform responsibly
You must provide information honestly and must not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, misleading, defamatory, invasive of another person’s privacy, or intended to scam or harass someone.
User responsibility
Every user is responsible for the information, images, contact details, rent amounts, messages, and other content they submit. Do not share another person’s personal information without permission. Please verify a property, owner, tenant, price, identity, and agreement independently before making a payment or moving in.
Community information only
PinMyRent provides a platform for sharing and discovering information. We do not guarantee that any rent figure, listing, image, profile, message, location, or user claim is accurate, current, complete, safe, or suitable. A map pin or listing is not an endorsement, verification, offer, or contract.
Our responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PinMyRent and its creators are not responsible for losses, disputes, fraud, injury, property damage, missed opportunities, or other consequences arising from information shared by users or from connections made through the platform. We may remove content, restrict accounts, or take down listings that appear inaccurate, harmful, or abusive.

Before you connect
Check the place. Visit the property and confirm the address, amenities, ownership or authority to rent, and any building or society rules.
Check the person. Use your own judgment and do not send money or identity documents until you are satisfied that the other party and arrangement are genuine.
Protect your account. Keep your password private and contact us promptly if you notice suspicious activity.
